She had met some hunk on the beach that morning and wanted to spend the rest of the day with him. Not a word about what I would be doing for the rest of the day. I was really disappointed, some Caribbean trip this was turning out to be.

There was no sign of Lara for the next two days as well and I didn’t waste my time worrying about her. The resort where we stayed was exceptionally good and I did manage to salvage what was left of the last few days of my vacation. The next time I plan a vacation, I am definitely going to go alone.
