While the subject of much controversy, several practitioners use and promote the famous Underground Hypnosis program and its likes as useful techniques. Often used to help treat emotional, mental, and physical complaints as well as a persuasive means of communication, this form of mind control uses an individual’s unconscious mind to make them do what you’re aiming for. As a result its uses range between the comedic tricks broadcast on television or in student parties and worthwhile treatment for depression or various addictions. I do understand how what you’ve heard might sound somewhat unsettling, but experienced practitioners know exactly what to do and cause few if any problems.
Conversational hypnosis resembling the style taught in Underground Hypnosis boils down to inducing a trance state in someone. You can make the trance so deep. How deeply the subject descends into a trance state is affected by things like their hypnotist’s ability, emotional status, and personality. The lightest trance level is established as the individual initially begins to relax their minor muscles. As the eyelids feel heavier, they’ll experience lethargy, wanting to fall asleep. As the subject goes deeper, this ease slowly spreads to the shoulders and hands. Typically, this takes mere moments. It’s possible to establish trances so deep that the sound heard is solely that coming from the hypnotist. The fabled power of suggestion can be explored now, as the subconscious is now open to instruction. Once you take your subject to a greater depth of trance, you’ll find a point beyond which they can be helped to ignore pain, and block other sensations.
Powerful hallucinations begin to appear the deeper they slide into trance, and given time the subject will arrive at a state reminiscent of that seen when undergoing general anesthetic. In fact, subjects might go through a medical procedure at this point without anesthetic or painkillers. You won’t learn ways you can induce that depth via Underground Hypnosis, but remember, of course, it’s seldom called for. To all intents and purposes, the initial strata we detailed are all you need.
So what’s the best part? Anybody has the opportunity to be taught these arts through Underground Hypnosis. By devoting a short while to reading and some hours honing your strategy, you’ll rapidly become quite an accomplished hypnotist — with all that entails. Why be worried? No reason to be nervous.

Welcome and thank you for showing your interest in this free
series which will explore the different treatment
options available for bipolar disorder. In this series
you can expect to discover:
Part 1 - What is bipolar disorder and how is it treated.
Part 2 - What medications are effective in treating bipolar disorder.
Part 3 - Effects of nutrition on bipolar disorder, psychotherapy and other treatments.
Part 4 - Co-occuring illnesses and genetics research.
Part 5 - Brain imaging and what does it show.
Part 6 - Treatment research
Part 7 - Where to find help
Let’s get to it
Introduction
Bipolar Disorder is a mental illness that causes people to
experience extremes in moods from high to low, sometimes
within a single day or week. As of 2005 there is no known
cure for the condition previously known as manic-depressive
illness. But scientists, researchers and physicians are
optimistic as they work to improve the prospect of a
reasonably normal life for sufferers and those they love.
The general public must become more aware of this illness
in order to take action early, thereby avoiding damaging
consequences. Patients themselves ought to pay heed to
whatever therapy is recommended by their physician, whom
they should know well and trust. Only in this way will
people be in the position to successfully manage this
potentially devastating illness.
Early Treatment is Important Contrary to the hopes of many
parents, Bipolar Disorder cannot be diagnosed at birth.
Symptoms usually appear in adolescence or early adulthood.
Unless the sufferer is treated, those symptoms will recur
throughout the course of life. Some people pug up with
bipolar disorder much longer than they should, only because
they do not realize they have the illness. If patients are
not diagnosed early, and cared for, Bipolar Disorder
becomes more difficult to treat. The longer a person
continues without medical attention, the higher the risk of
alcohol and substance abuse, suicide, and serious issues at
home, work and school. Proper treatment is very important
so that the bipolar disorder patient can begin to stabilize
his or her moods. Exaggerated mood swings are at the heart
of this illness, and in many ways define it.
So How is Bipolar Disorder Treated?
Bipolar Disorder is treated through a combination of
medication and psychological treatment and oftentimes,
nutrition. As with many conditions or illnesses, a
collective approach tends to be most effective.
A medical doctor (most often a psychiatrist) with expertise
in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders
generally prescribes medication. Treatment should be
ongoing, and not on-and-off. Even with continuoustreatment, mood swings may happen, but if a doctor is notified, he or she can adjust the treatment plan to suitthe patient’s need. It is critical that patients work very
closely with their doctor, communicate openly and honestly
regarding questions or concerns, and feel comfortable
discussing treatment options.
Many bipolar disorder patients record their daily moods,
their treatments, sleep patterns and life events on a
chart. By charting their day, sufferers and their loved
ones become more aware of possible triggers. As a
consequence, they can effectively guide the treatment
process.
In the next issue we’ll explore the different medications
used to treat bipolar disorder.

Employee surveys are an ideal way to understand the feelings of employees. They help to feel the pulse of the employees, which can determine the cause of several problems like high absenteeism, high turnover, organizational conflict, disputes, and high employee dissatisfaction. These, in turn, would help to determine the steps that have to be undertaken to reduce the incidence of such issues, as well as to improve employee morale and productivity.
Employee attitude surveys help to understand the organization’s needs from the perspective of the employees. They analyze the employees’ opinions on several aspects including the company’s mission, ideologies, and leadership, to more implicit issues like communication and interpersonal relations. An analysis of these opinions would be useful in facilitating organizational development and change, as well as determining the organizations’ needs. It would reveal the company’s strengths and weaknesses, internal health, and external image. The impact of the company’s policies and programs on the employees’ productivity, satisfaction and morale can also be determined. This would help the company to examine its future standing in the community.
Some of the common aspects covered in an employee attitude survey are: importance of creativity and innovation, employee satisfaction, attitude of senior management, interpersonal relations, functional expertise, ability to listen, customer service, communication, results orientation, analytical thinking, strategic leadership, teamwork adaptability, development, leadership, corporate culture, importance given to development and change, ethics, communication, recognition, commitment, employee empowerment and participation, accountability, work-life balance, job security, career and succession planning, and so on. It can also include the employees’ own experiences of working with the company that may have affected his/her morale, satisfaction, personal accomplishments, career goals, creativity, efficiency, and overall well-being.
This could be a result of the company’s attitude towards teamwork, communication, feedback, decision making, training and development, flexibility provided to employees, facilities and work environment, cooperation, supervision, honesty, compensation policies, and several other things.
Many companies are conducting employee attitude surveys for long-term benefits. Generally, these are conducted in-house by HR departments. However, many companies today are outsourcing these surveys to external third-party agencies that would be able provide expert and unbiased analysis of the survey results. There are many such agencies that offer professional employee attitude survey services. They use special software tools for better and faster analysis of data. These can also be accessed online through the Internet. The questionnaires can also be filled by employees online, which is faster and more efficient. Some sample questionnaires can also be downloaded for free from some of these websites.
Employee Surveys provides detailed information on Employee Surveys, Employee Satisfaction Surveys, Employee Exit Surveys, Employee Attitude Surveys and more. Employee Surveys is affiliated with Online Surveys.

What happens when you are applying for a new job and you are already in pain? What do you do? What are your options?
When I am interviewing for new employment my eyes and ears are on full alert. I want to see and feel the environment I would be working in if hired. I can pick up vibes when the office is not running smoothly and the employees are stressed out.
Next, I look at the office itself. What workstation will I be working at. Since I work at a computer and sit down 95% of the day, I want to see if I will be working at a comfortable workstation or — will the workstation cause me Pain?
I can spot this immediately. Ergonomics is a great word to use when you say to your perspective employer. “I need an ergonomic workspace.” Each individual is different and most people don’t speak up about having an ergonomical workspace on an interview.
Employer:
It is your job to keep your employees happy and pain free. This makes for a happier and more productive work environment.
Your Workmen’s Compensation Insurance premiums will not sky rocket with claims that could easily have been prevented.
Nobody, likes to work in pain when it is so unnecessary.
Suggestions:
(1) TELEPHONE:
When working with a telephone use a headset. They aren’t expensive and the positive results are enormous.
It relieves Pain in your neck and shoulders. Both your hands are free to use the computer and write. Much more productive.
(2) LOWER YOUR KEYBOARD:
Lower your keyboard and put a pad under it. It cushions your hands and the results are remarkable. If you don’t have a pad use a folded towel.
I think, the best keyboard to use is the split keyboard or the ergonomic keyboard. Yes, they take a little getting used to but once you get past the newness of the key placement, you will not be able to type on the standard keyboard again.
This keyboard is especially effective for people with hand problems or for people who do not want to get hand problems.
Remember, blood does not flow uphill.
(3) CHAIR:
Make sure your chair can be adjusted and supports your lower back. Place your feet firmly on the ground or on a foot rest. Your back will be happy!
(4) MONITOR:
Your monitor is important for two reasons:
(1) It needs to be the correct height for you. Your neck needs to be comfortable. No pulling or pain.
(2) Eyesight. People who wear glasses and especially bifocals need to have the correct monitor adjustment to see the screen.
(5) WORKSTATION:
Your desk is where your write and work. Your arms and hands rest on this most of the time. Be sure it is not to high or to low. When reaching in front, or above stand up instead of remaining seated.
Standing up when reaching takes the stress off your entire body and keeps your posture intact.
You do not need to work in an office to suffer from pain. You can drive a truck, work in construction or many other positions. The bottom line is you are working in pain. Do your paperwork by protecting yourself and your family.
ADJUST YOUR WORKSTATION TO WORK FOR YOU.
NOT FOR YOU TO ADJUST TO YOUR WORKSTATION.
EMPLOYEES:
It is your duty to report an injury. If your workstation is uncomfortable and needs to be adjusted report this to your supervisor. Get a doctor’s prescription if needed.
FEAR OF JOB LOSS:
Yes, I know it is scary to report this for fear of losing your job. —But if you do not report it your body takes on more and more abuse. Your pain level is higher everyday –Something has to give.—
When all is said and done —Nobody Cares—. Only you and your family care because you are the family provider. When you are unemployed and need to get another job the perspective employer will not want to hire you. You are now considered injured property.
EMPLOYEES PROTECT YOURSELF:
When you are injured on the job. Report your injury before it is to late. Make sure you do your paperwork for a work comp claim. —You have to protect yourself and your family—.
TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES:
When you are employed from a Temporary Employment Agency, you usually take any available workstation available. If it is uncomfortable the questions is:
(1) I would like it changed to prevent pain.
(2) Do I keep my mouth shut and work daily in pain.
With a Temporary Employee, I am afraid in most cases it is the latter. Most employees keep their mouths shut and say to themselves, I will not rock the boat. I do not want to lose this job and I will tolerate Pain.
Having been in this situation myself several times, I do not know what to tell you to do. I only have this one suggestion:
When you are in pain the pain does not go away. It only gets worse.
I believe, the employer and employee can work together to create a happier, productive, pain free environment.
Let me hear from you about your horror stories in the working world or about any of my other articles.
