Discover F1 Tracks

Filed under: World Of Sports — admin @ 3:03 am

A typical F1 circuit by & large features a portion of straight tarmac on which the starting lines are placed. The pit lane, where the F1 drivers stop for refilling and tyres during the Formula One race, & where the F1 constructors work on the Formula 1 cars ahead of the grand prix, is commonly to be found in parallel to the starting rows. The plan of the remaining parts of the race course changes significantly, although in countless occasions the course goes in a clockwise direction. Those couple of tracks that go anti-clockwise (and consequently have predominantly left-handed turns) might cause grand prix drivers neck problems due to the huge amount of sideways forces made by F1 cars dragging their heads in the opposite direction to normal. For all the latest information on F1 Drivers go now to F1Tribute.com.

A numerous number of the courses currently in use are exclusively built for racing days. The modern street race tracks are the Circuit of Monaco and Melbourne, though street circuits in other cities come & go (For Example, Las Vegas and Detroit) & applications for such grand prixs are time and again discussed ? lately London & Beirut. More than a few other circuits are also entirely or partly laid out on public roads, such as Spa-Francorchamps. The allure and regard of the Monaco grand prix are the main explanations why the track is still in use even today, since it is believed not to pass the stern safety requirements imposed on other race courses. Three-time Formula 1 World champion Nelson Piquet famously depicted driving in Monte Carlo as “like riding a bike in your own living room”.

Tips For Setting Up Your Above Ground Pool

Filed under: World Of Sports — admin @ 3:04 am

Don’t we wish these pools would have been on the market when we were kids! These pools put the plastic pools from my childhood to shame.

But there IS a little more to setting them up then tossing in the hose. Just follow your pools directions, but keep these tips in mind too.

1. Put down a layer of level sand under your tarp or ground cloth to make it more stable and resistant to tears.

2. Place the filter in a corner area of your square ground cloth so it is more likely to remain upright and away from the mower.

3. Your filter has to plug in, be sure and use a bright colored extension cord to eliminate trips and falls.

4. Always have a patch kit or two on hand, they do work well but you may lose a lot of water if you have to run to the store when and if you need one.

5. Get as many wrinkles out of the liner as possible starting with the middle.

6. Add the water slowly until all the wrinkles have been smoothed out. Too much water makes it hard, if not impossible, to work out the wrinkles.

7. Double check to make sure the drain plug is in.

8. Double check to make sure your pump hoses are secure and burp the air out of the pump before you plug it in.

9. Read the chemical labels and learn what to add when. It really isn’t that hard if you consistently take care of it.

10. Have Fun!! Be sure and supervise your children carefully and to keep the chemicals out of reach. Also remember that pool covers are meant to keep debris out of the pool and are not meant as a safety device to keep children safe. That is your job, you will be the lifeguard always on duty with a pool in the yard.

Ordering online is the best way of getting steroids

Filed under: World Of Sports — admin @ 1:22 pm

Every serious bodybuilder once in his career comes to the point
in his life when he asks himself whether to use steroids or not.
Once he answers this question to himself, and if the answer is
positive, there goes the next question: Where do I get them,
where do I buy steroids?

Way back there wasn’t much choice - you’d go to the biggest guy
in the gym and, after some chit-chat, ask him if he can get you
some and hope for the best. Nowadays it is somewhat different.
Because the government is getting stricter and the penalties are
high people will not sell steroids to complete strangers because
of fear of police. For the same reasons people - potential
customers - don’t dare asking bout steroids that much either.
Thankfully there came an alternative - Internet Sales.

At first Internet wasn’t treated with much respect by
bodybuilders, it was in fact quite overlooked. Let’s face it,
most bodybuilder weren’t really interested in a geeky virtual
network used mainly by geeks. Bodybuilders just weren’t geeks.
Gradually things changed, though, as people realized that by
using Internet, they can easily communicate with other people
from all over the world. Bodybuilders, too, realized that they
can reach a lot more people over the Internet than they could
ever reach in the gym, and all these people shared their ideas,
experience, best cycles, mistakes… And they could do that from
the confinement of their homes, and with complete anonymity.

Naturally, as more people started sharing their ideas, people
also realized they could ask others where to obtain anabolic
steroids. And they were told; eventually, there would be sources
offering their products to others. Thus more and more people
started ordering steroids over the net. Unfortunately, just as
soon, crooks realized they could simply claim they would sell
steroids to a potential customer, but would simply stop
responding after they would receive the money. These so called
scammers lowered actual Internet steroids sales and seriously
lowered people’s confidence in online sources.

It is often asked why would anyone want to order online anyway -
if you order from someone in the gym you can inspect the
products - visually at least - on the spot; you don’t send money
to unknown persons without knowing if you will ever see it
again; if the gear is fake, you always know whom to approach…
These are all very good arguments for using known sources, those
found in the gym, but they are only good when one already knows
the source or is introduced by an intermediate. When, on the
other hand, a young bodybuilder with no connections wants to buy
gear directly he is confronted with difficult question. Whom do
I ask; is he reliable; will he talk to others about me; will I
be perceived as a druggie if he talks? In the last couple of
years, because the laws got even stricter, there is always a
question whether or not that other person is police or not. And
even if one is willing to ignore that a potential source may
not. These are important questions and to many people anonymity
is more important than couple of dollars they might loose to a
scammer.

On the other hand it is known that on the Internet you are
unknown. When you ask a question on a public steroid board,
something like which is better, Sustanon or Deca, no one is
going to bash you about using steroids. Even if anyone would
want to, it is limited to that public board or group. Once you
decide you wish to order online, all you really give out is your
address. This info again is stored on some server on the
Internet, and impossible to access for outsiders. When you pay
for an online order, you never have to give out any info about
what exactly you pay for. Some more advanced online sources even
offer Credit Card payment, so it only take couple of clicks and
some typing and you’re done. Of course online ordering is not
perfect: you are never sure when you will receive the items you
ordered as post usually takes time; and you are never sure if
you will receive them at all. This last issue, however, can be
avoided if you do some research beforehand and pay attention to
some basic guidelines for evaluating steroid sources (a separate
article to follow shortly ;))

So we can see that online steroid ordering has more positive
sides than negative, and in fact is easier and better than
looking for a source in a gym (without any prior connections).
Although it is far from perfect it does have the advantage of
anonymity and complete deniability in the face of law. And as
such it is the best choice for anyone trying to get steroids.

Curling - An Ice Sport With A Cool Curve

Filed under: World Of Sports — admin @ 12:35 am

Curling, even though being recognized as an Olympic medal sport, is still unfamiliar to many. Just what is this sport and how is played? Simply put, curling is a sport that is played on ice where players slide granite rocks down the playing field. As the rocks travel, they have will often curve, or ‘curl,’ during play. This is why the sport is known as Curling.

This unique sport first came into existence on the frozen ponds and lakes of Northern Europe. During a Curling competition, two teams of four players will slide hefty granite rocks across a 130′ x 15′ sheet of ice. The rocks travel down the ice toward the center, which is similar to an archery format. The designated areas are painted just below the surface of the ice at both ends, which allows the rocks to be played back and forth during a series of competitions.

Each Curling game will consist of sixteen rocks being thrown and, following the conclusion, a score is tallied. Each team will score one point for each rock that is determined to be closest to the center. Very similar to the strategy of baseball, only one team can score during any given play. One of the most unique features of curling is the incorporation of sweeping. When a player sweeps the ice, they are essentially brushing it at a rapid pace in order to keep the rock moving. The process of sweeping helps to polish the ice and helps to promote a more distant, straight moving rock.

Curling is a popular sport that is actively played in over 20 countries, including North America, Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. A large majority of curling players reside in the United States, Scotland and Canada. Mostly played indoors, curling is a popular sport for fans who prefer to be protected from mother nature while enjoying a sports event.

Even though many are still unfamiliar with curling as a sport, it’s awareness has increased since the 2002 Olympic games, which were held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cable television covered the events worldwide and many sports enthusiasts were drawn to the unique aspect of curling. In fact, curling was also a popular sport in the recent 2006 Olympic Winter Games, which were held in Turin, Italy. Filed under: World Of Sports — admin @ 3:28 pm

CAP D’ AFRIQUE as Cape Town’s coastline is affectionately known,
is still the popular location for a sound property investment.
Suzy Ormond, Standard Bank’s financial advisor has commented on
this property boom, “Buy now! You might think prices are high,
but in 5-10 years time it’s going to go through the roof.” While
investors are busy gobbling up property along the Atlantic
Seaboard, others are heading for the phenomenon of the Golf
Estate.

The Garden Route is traditionally the No. 1 choice for property
purchase for retirement and holiday purposes. In the new South
Africa, it has increasingly become the destination of choice for
permanent residence by local and foreign buyers, due to its
scenic beauty, tranquillity, and low crime rate.

Mossel Bay on the Garden Route, half way between Cape Town and

Valley, and is set against the slopes of the Steenberg Mountain.

Costa del Sol Golf Courses

Filed under: World Of Sports — admin @ 12:35 am

The Costa del Sol, recently renamed the Costa del Golf, is an absolute
Paradise for golfers of all standards. Offering some world-class golf courses in some beautiful locations combined with the highest number of sunshine days per annum in Europe it is hard to beat. Plentiful and cheap flights to Malaga, Gibraltar and now Jerez make it accessible all the year round and not content to rest on it’s laurels new golf courses and academies are being opened up on a regular basis which is why so many golfers return here year after year as there are always new and exciting challenges.

Just A Few of the Many Costa del Sol Golf Courses.

Valderrrama, home to the Volvo Masters (1988-96), the Ryder Cup (1997) and the World Golf Championships (1999-2000), Valderrama surpasses its reputation as number 1 in Europe and it has twice received the accolade of “Best Golf Club in Europe”

La Duquesa Golf Course, designed by Trent Jones has some wonderful Mediterranean views , which could play havoc with your scoring! It is probably the most complete club on the coast offering tennis, swimming pool, squash, gym etc. along with the picturesque Duqesa Port just across the road. There is also an excellent bar and restaurant, and not forgetting of course the world class and demanding golf course itself.

La Caada was designed free of charge by Tent Jones and is the first municipal golf course of the Costa del Sol. It’s nine holes are laid out on a hillside and do not present any particular difficulties.

Alhaurin Golf is a little inland from the Costa del Sol but is well worth the trip as the scenery is stunning and the course superb.

La Qinta Golf and Country Club is home to the former World Champion Manuel Piero’s Golf School. It is a technical course that reflects the designer, Manuel Piero’s, own playing characteristics in that it rewards accuracy rather than long hitting.

Alcaidesa Golf is the best and only true links course in Spain. It has recently undergone an extensive programme of re- modelling with fairways being improved and widened and greens levelled off with the result that the layout is now suitable for golfers of all levels.
